Aaron Gonzales, Totavi Pín (Quail Mountain), the second eldest of Barbara & Robert’s four sons, is an outdoorsman, all around craftsman and an Army Veteran of the Gulf War, who also took on the family tradition of pottery making at an early age.
Upon returning from service in the early 1990’s, he began creating finely sculpted buffalo figurines out of clay. Over the years these have become his signature pieces. Inline with his love of the outdoor world, he uses coyote, turtle, or porcupine claws as horns. Aaron’s buffaloes are a fitting contemporary addition to his traditional bowl & plate pieces.
